Dr. B.C.ROY AWARD

The Medical Council of India conferred the prestigious "Dr. B.C.ROY AWARD" in 1985 for his outstanding work as Health Minister. It is significant that this award is very rarely given to Ministers

THE SAKE OF HONOR AWARD

Dr. H.V. Hande received FOR "THE SAKE OF HONOR AWARD" by the Rotary International in 2001 and again in 2015 for his outstanding contribution  in the task of WIPING OUT  MEASLES AS WELL AS POLIO . This work was later replicated all over India
